High maintenance hair is not my thing. Instead, I enjoy making your life easier by giving you a beautiful haircut that will almost style itself. I enjoy enhancing the NATURAL beauty of your hair: the movement, the wave and the texture. All of these can find expression, beauty and a party within the outline of the haircut. I actually enjoy cutting rebellious hair. Since it's going to do what it wants to anyway, the trick is to shape it so that it stays within the outline of the design. Creative hair color can also enhance the flow of your hair. Streaks of varying shades, subtle or wild, can be a lot of fun. Even a slight change in your existing color can make it more flattering and vibrant.

You and I will explore any notions that you have about the way that you want your hair to look and not until I have a clear picture of your vision will I pick up the shears. My goal is to have you look in the mirror and grin at yourself because you look so great.

Many of my clients are too busy, have not got nimble fingers or just plain don't want to spend time styling their hair. Some will simply run their fingers through it and run out the door. Most use fingers and a blow-dryer, occasionally a brush if that works for them. I will teach you how to do this. No worries. It's easy.

I learned this cutting technique at Yosh on Maiden Lane in San Francisco 25 years ago.(It is now called Gina) It has become more exciting for me as each year passed because it is now like creating a fluid, soft and colorful piece of sculpture. And it fits so beautifully around you face.
